Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Big White Spot platform, operated by Montages Media Labs (Flat 1, 24 Charles Road, St. Leonards-on-sea, TN38 0QH, UK).

1. Account Creation & Adult 18+ Requirement

  • Organizers & Hosts: You must be at least 18 years of age to register an organizer account, purchase tokens, or host event rooms.
  • Prohibited Venues: Event rooms must NEVER be created in schools, youth clubs, kindergartens, or locations where minors primarily assemble.

2. Patron Conduct & Prohibited Content

When participating on a live social wall, patrons must interact respectfully. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Profanity, slurs, targeted harassment, or hate speech in names, bios, or ID HELP visual descriptions.
  • Nudity, sexually explicit images, graphic violence, or pornographic uploads.
  • Commercial product spam, corporate marketing flyers, or financial/crypto solicitations.
  • Impersonation of venue staff, security, or other attendees.

3. DACH Youth Protection & Direct Messaging (DMs)

To strictly comply with youth protection legislation (*German JuSchG / JMStV, Austrian WJSG, Swiss FSM*) requiring verified 18+ age verification (AVS):

  • Direct 1-to-1 messaging (DMs) is deactivated for rooms operating in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
  • 1-to-1 messaging in DACH rooms will be unlocked once the **EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI / eIDAS 2.0)** age verification ecosystem reaches maturity and integration.

4. Tokens & Payment Terms

Event tokens purchased via Stripe are non-transferable credits used to activate and extend room hosting services. Token packages are final and non-refundable once consumed for event room activation.

5. Automated AI Moderation & Enforcement

Real-time Modal/OpenRouter AI safety filters inspect profile uploads and messages. Non-compliant profiles are subject to immediate automated suspension or removal by venue hosts.

6. Limitation of Liability

Big White Spot provides a venue interaction wall. Montages Media Labs is not liable for user conduct or disputes arising from in-person interactions at venue events. Users participate at their own risk.
