Big White Spot is a high-performance Live Event Social Wall & Matchmaking Platform. As an event host or venue manager, creating a Room provides your venue (pubs, bars, clubs, dating events, and networking meetups) with a branded digital lounge—enabling attendees to connect, match, and socialize in real time.

1 Setting Up Your Event Room

Your Room corresponds to a venue location and event series (e.g., "BWS Singles Night at The Pig & Whistle" or "Tech Founders Meetup").

  • Room Identity: Set a unique URL slug, room title, venue address, and organizer name.
  • Custom Branding: Upload your venue logo, header banners, and customized color themes.
  • Access Controls & Venue PIN: Optionally require a 4-digit venue PIN displayed at your bar to ensure only guests inside the room can join.
  • Tokens & Event Credits: Purchase flexible token packages via Stripe to host events and extend room durations.

2 Location & In-Venue Geofencing

Big White Spot enforces physical presence before attendees can join the social wall.

  • Geofencing Radius: Set a GPS boundary (e.g., 200m–500m). Attendees must grant temporary location access to join.
  • Off-Site Spam Prevention: Anyone outside the geofence radius is prevented from posting or interacting on your wall.

3 Print Media Customizer & Venue Marketing

Promote your room effortlessly with vector-crisp 300 DPI promotional media:

  • Live Poster & Table Card Generator: Customize and render high-resolution A3/A4 venue posters, A6 table stand cards, and beer mats.
  • Embedded Vector QR Codes: Automated QR generation featuring your venue logo for table stands and bar displays.

4 Real-Time AI Moderation & Content Safety

  • Modal VLM & OpenRouter AI Filters: Every uploaded patron profile (photo, name, bio, ID HELP description) is evaluated in milliseconds for indecency, hate speech, or commercial spam.
  • Host Moderation Dashboard: Room hosts can view active patrons, flag inappropriate entries, or manually remove profiles in 1 click.

5 Youth Protection & DACH Compliance (EUDI Wallet Roadmap)

Big White Spot enforces strict minor protection standards in full compliance with the UK Online Safety Act, the German Youth Protection Act (JuSchG) & Interstate Treaty on Youth Protection (JMStV), the Austrian WJSG, and the Swiss FSM.

  • Mandatory 18+ Account Requirement: Only adults (18+) are authorized to create host accounts and register rooms.
  • Strict Ban on Minor Venues: Event rooms must NEVER be created in schools, youth clubs, or places where minors congregate.
  • DACH Direct Messaging (DM) Rule: To comply with DACH age-verification regulations (AVS), 1-to-1 direct messaging is deactivated for rooms operating in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
  • EUDI Wallet Integration Roadmap: 1-to-1 messaging in DACH rooms will be unlocked as the EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI / eIDAS 2.0) initiative matures, allowing zero-knowledge cryptographic 18+ age validation.
